Born in Eskisehir in 1964, Ali Ulu graduated from Middle East Technical University (METU) Faculty of Architecture, City and Regional Planning Department in 1990. Ulu, who started his career as a researcher within the Ministry of Culture, crowned his academic experience with a PhD degree and trained the next generation of architects as a faculty member at Anadolu University's Department of Architecture for many years.
Ali Ulu, who has numerous academic works and publications on urban identity, spatial development and urban transformation processes of Eskişehir, founded Ulu Tasarım (Ulu Design) in order to combine his theoretical knowledge with practice. With the vision of a City Planner, he acts not only on a building scale in his projects, but from the perspective of urban texture, sustainability and people-oriented settlements.
Today, under the roof of Ulu Tasarım, Eskişehir continues to implement modern urbanism concept by blending aesthetic and technical excellence.
